It’s a summer day during Bush’s reign, and Nick is determined to save the world, score some pot, make Soo-Min his girlfriend, and have his LaVeyan Satanist brother talk his best friend Alberto out of enlisting. SHEEPLE is about what to do when “everything you know is wrong.”

Seasoned entertainment pro Mara Wilson and talented director Max Reuben team up to present SHEEPLE as part of the 17th annual New York International Fringe Festival – FringeNYC.

Mara and Max have been committed to a production of SHEEPLE since they were undergraduates together at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theater School. It was there that they forged a strong, collaborative friendship which has colored how they relate to the play, itself. It’s not just about the unique teenage burden of having to know everything, but about family: both the kind you have and the kind you make.
